Every 3 minutes a new mother in Africa dies. With basic healthcare we all take for granted, many more would survive.
Working alongside mothers across sub-Saharan Africa has always been at the heart of what Amref Health Africa is all about.
That’s why, every Mother’s Day we ask people to celebrate their mum, and show their solidarity with African mothers by posting a photo of your mum, of you and your kids - or your partner, using the hashtag #SaveMothersDay. Every photo that uses this hashtag on social platforms such as Facebook and Instagram will be collected in a digital gallery at savemothersday.co.uk.
Here you can make a donation which could buy the basic healthcare which could save someone’s life. Or you could post your photo with a screengrab of your text donation.
Join our #SaveMothersDay campaign and donate, so we can continue to fund the work that we do in these amazing communities.
Texts cost £3 plus network charge. Amref Health Africa receives 100% of your donation. Please make sure you obtain the bill payer’s permission. Customer care: 0207 269 5520. Charity No: 261488
