International Day for Street Children

On the International Day for Street Children, AMREF is delighted to announce that we are working with Cycle Africa as the team travels from London, England to Cape Town, South Africa by bike.

Cycle Africa is more than an adventure, it is a journey with a purpose; to make a real and lasting difference in the lives of street children in Africa. In partnership with some of the leading street children charities, Cycle Africa is bringing the real and the positive stories of children who are surviving on the streets into the spotlight.

To find out more about this exciting project you can visit the Cycle Africa website or follow the team's progress on Twitter. You can read more about AMREF's work with street children through our Dagoretti Child in Need project, or hear firsthand about the project from Amos.

If you would like to take part in the first day of this epic adventure, you can join the team to cycle from London to Brighton and raise money for AMREF. For more information, call Lucy on 0207 269 6865 or l.scanlon@amrefuk.org
