'Katine: It starts with a village' is shortlisted for an award

The groundbreaking 'Katine: It starts with a village' project that AMREF is delivering in Uganda, in Katinepartnership with Guardian News and Media, Barclays and FARM-Africa, has been shortlisted for the One World Media Awards.

'Katine: It starts with a village' has been shortlisted for the New Media Award, for outstanding media output, along with two others.

The One World Media Awards rewards excellence in media coverage on the vital issues of international development. This year there were over 300 entries for the awards over the 12 categories.

The awards ceremony will be held in London on June 12th, hosted by Jon Snow, and attended by the Most Reverend and Right Honourable Dr John Sentamu, The Lord Archbishop of York as the evening’s guest speaker.
