Felix's flight for AMREF!

AMREF supporter and recently qualified pilot Felix Saddler is taking on the challenge of a lifetime and flying a 4000 nautical mile round trip to Northern Africa to raise money for AMREF!

The flight will take place in spring 2012 and is currently in the planning stages. On his blog Felix explained why he chose to fly for AMREF, saying, "They don't squander donated aid on superfluous commodities, instead, they create affordable and sustainable healthcare where it is needed most - they provide not only a service to the people but an education."

As a pilot himself, Felix appreciates the unique and essential service that AMREF's air ambulance service, the Flying Doctors provide. He has dedicated his flight to his late grandfather who was WW2 bomber command veteran.

Read Felix's blog to keep up with his preparations for the epic trip and visit his Virgin Money Giving page to sponsor him and support AMREF's vital health development work.
