AMREF campaigns
AMREF believes every African should have the right to better health.
Many poor, vulnerable people across Africa lack either access to the most basic health services, or are not aware of ways to improve their day-to-day health, like washing their hands to prevent waterborne diseases.
AMREF raises awareness of the importance of investing in health in Africa both in the UK and within Africa.
- We challenge policy makers to adopt policies that create real and lasting health change for the Africa's most vulnerable communities
- We work with local communities so that they can voice their concerns about issues which are important to them.
- We work with Ministries of Health and local governments to create health policies that are culturally appropriate and sustainable
- We build alliances with other organisations to promote one, united voice on important health issues in Africa
