In Uganda, many people who are HIV-positive also struggle with TB and malaria infection. Thirty percent of AIDS deaths are the result of complications from these diseases. AMREF is tackling the problem by testing and treating all three diseases in tandem, and by training village health teams to educate rural and vulnerable communities about them.
