In the UK our purpose is to increase the impact of AMREF in Africa – raising funds and targeting resources towards programmes that strengthen health systems for the long-term.
Through strong partnerships with our network of supporters and donors, we are able to provide much-needed funding and technical support to projects in Africa.
For every £1 you give to AMREF 84p goes directly to fund our work in Africa. 15p is re-invested to generate income and to provide technical support to AMREF in Africa.
We deliver good quality health care closer to those who need it most. Headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya, AMREF is a truly African organisation whose vision is lasting health change in Africa.
