London Supporter Group
AMREF are lucky enough to have the help of a dynamic and committed supporter group. The group is made up of enthusiastic young professionals living in London who give their time and energies to help make a real difference to the most vulnerable people in Africa.
The group came together for the first time in 2006 when a small group of people, all living in London and passionate about AMREF, decided they wanted to do more to help. Since then they have put on some fantastic events to spread the word about AMREF and help raise thousands of pounds to support our life saving work.
The dedicated team of London supporters are always keen to think of fun and innovative events to involve their friends, family, colleagues and people hearing about AMREF for the first time. Some of their past events have included a speed dating night, a barn dance, a fiesta party and a hugely successful Midsummer Night Party raising over £2,500.
