Your support will enable AMREF to continue saving and transforming lives in some of Africa’s poorest and most marginalised communities.

You can donate to AMREF by giving either a single gift or a regular gift. Setting up a regular gift with direct debit is the most efficient and cost effective way to support AMREF and enable us to plan for the future with greater confidence.

A gift of just £5 per month could purchase one special 'medikit', including equipment and medicine, for a midwife to use on their rounds, so they can stop more mothers dying needlessly while giving life.

£8 per month could pay for one child to be tested for the killer disease malaria every week, ensuring they receive treatment quickly and potentially saving their life. AMREF also educates communities about how to avoid catching fatal diseases like malaria.

On average, for every £1 you donate in the UK:

90.3p goes directly to fund our health programmes in Africa

9.3p is invested to generate future income and to provide technical support to AMREF in Africa

0.4p is spent on governance, administration and office running costs
